What does it treat?
Scarlet SRF micro-needling is commonly performed to tighten and lift skin on the face, neck and body; improving skin texture, pores, photo-aging, scars and stretch marks. We can treat the scalp line and temples to effectively give a lift to the entire periphery of the face.
Does it hurt?
The procedure itself feels warm while it is occurring. For a few hours after your treatment, redness and some swelling can be expected. Your skin may feel like you have had a mild sunburn.
How does it work?
Your provider will recommend the right approach for your goals. Basic protocol calls for a series of three treatments: once a month for three months. When you arrive, we’ll apply a topical numbing cream on the treatment area. Once you’re numb, your provider will move systematically over the treatment area to repair, lift and tighten skin.
What is the procedure time?
Scarlet SRF treatments can take anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes. The time needed for a treatment depends on the size and condition of the area to be treated. Scarlet SRF is both time-efficient and revolutionarily effective.
Who is a good candidate?
Unlike many micro-needling and laser treatments, Scarlet SRF is safe and works on ALL skin types along the Fitzpatrick scale: I, II, III, IV, V, and VI. Scarlet SRF selectively heats total dermal layers to rejuvenate skin without any risk of epidermal pigmentation changes.
When can I expect results?
In some cases, you’ll see almost immediate tightening, but the results of dermal remodeling appear gradually over two to three months with the generation of new collagen and elastin fibers.
Recovery time & side effects?
There is no downtime. Patients can return to their regular daily activities immediately following treatment. Unlike other micro-needling treatments, there is little to no bleeding or sensitivity. Though you may be red, with a windburned-like appearance, but this will resolve in a day.
